Thanks to NPR’s “Picture Show” blog, I can relay some good news from
at least one public school. (Steven Brill’s recent New Yorker article about city
teachers in NYC was dispiriting.) A Houston high-school photography
class teams up with the Museum of Fine Arts for an annual exhibition focusing
on a historically African-American neighborhood, the Third Ward.
